The two partners, Jonathan Cousins and James Nick Sears, bring a range of expertise and knowledge from graphic design to software development and electrical engineering, as well as diverse subjects such as history and music. With a line of sight Bluetooth range of 325 feet, the small size, convenient mounting slot, and long battery life (typically over 2 years) simplify placing one or multiple sensors wherever they are needed most.
